The Viseum mobile unit was deployed in Limerick city over the bank holiday weekend in the Arthurs Quay area of the city. In conjunction with the city Gardai, the unit was programmed for general surveillance to include both crowd observation and traffic management.
The mobile unit can be installed on location in 45 minutes and is powered from a battery housed in the unit and remotely programmed using a GSM connection for ease of installation.
